Welcome to AARP Volusia / Flagler Florida community! This Volusia / Flagler Florida site has been developed by and for AARP members in the Volusia-Flagler Florida County area. This community site is designed to allow AARP Florida members and volunteers to meet as well as find out about state, local, and national events already scheduled. We will continue to build the site to provide a means for AARP members in local chapters AND AARP members whose schedules conflict with chapter meetings to connect with one another. It will also make it possible to plan and schedule occasional events of interest to AARP members in Volusia and Flagler counties who are not members of existing chapters.

This site is destined to become your one stop information center for all seniors 50 and over as to happenings in each of the AARP chapters as well as community information. You are urged to peruse the information that is available in the "Local Events", "Newsletters" and "Chapters" section above. You are also urged to browse through AARP's Policy index; and search for the latest information on the state and nation's top AARP Florida and national issues.

Is your home street address number, apartment number and/or lot number clearly visible from the street? If not, why not? In an emergency when seconds count between life or death, police and emergency medical services need to quickly locate you! Look at where you live from the street. Can you see your number? If you can't, police/fire/ambulance personnel won't. Take the time now to place visible address numbers on your home which are visible from the street, it's a matter of your security and safety.
